Becoming a Member is simple and extremely rewarding. Read and agree to the operational rules and club bylaws, pay for your membership and fill out the membership application. After we have received your application we will contact you to schedule a member briefing. Scheduling aircraft and paying is all done online. Our goal is to keep everything simple.

For our Future Pilots

Our operating cost is well below out competitors. Our club fee's are $20.00 per month. We pledge to keep your goal of becoming a pilot a down-to-earth and as cost effective as possible. Our Freelance Flight Instructors are committed to keeping your educational experience within budget. Their hourly rate normally runs between $40.00 to $45.00 per hour. AFC is committed to making flying affordable to all who have the dream of flying.

Your totally hourly cost is approximately $123.50/$126.00 per hour. Based on the above scenario you should be able to attain your goal of becoming a Private Pilot certificate holder within your budget. The national average is 60 to 70 hours. Using 60 hours, your total cost will be $7,410.00. Using 70 hours your cost will be $8,645.00.

For Our Seasoned Pilots

We share your passion, we are seasoned veterans always striving to be better tomorrow than we were yesterday. We want to go faster and higher. You can do that at AFC. Our C-210 is available for those times when time is the most important factor. After a check ride with one of our Freelance Flight instructors your ready to go. You must have the required hours (TT 150) and type (HP 10) rating you can be on your way.
